Is a food delivery fee deductible?

Yes! An increasing number of family child care providers are using home delivery services to have food delivered to their front door. If you use 100% of this food for your business, you can deduct 100% of the delivery cost.

If you use this food for business and personal purposes, deduct a portion of the cost. Estimate what percentage of the food is used for your business and deduct that percentage of the delivery fee.

Save the delivery fee receipt and deduct the expense under food, along with your other food expenses.
