Pathways to Success Curriculum Now Available to Twin City Providers

Here’s a new training/mentoring opportunity for family child care providers who live in the Twin Cities Metropolitan Area of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota and who have been licensed for a year or less.

It’s called Pathways to Success.

It’s a six class curriculum that covers: record keeping and taxes, contracts and policies, integrating family and the family child care business, marketing, developmental milestones, understanding how children learn, child guidance and more.

I will be teaching the class on record keeping and taxes.

Participants will receive twelve hours of approved training, five hours of personal mentoring, a 3-ring binder of workshop materials, a 2017 Redleaf Calendar Keeper, and a filing system to help you organize your business.

The class size is limited to twenty providers. The total cost is $35. Classes meet in the evening.

The deadline to register is April 7th. Register here.

For questions, call Deloris Friske at 952-492-3827.

If you are a new provider or know of someone who is and lives in the Metro Area of the Twin Cities, this is a wonderful training opportunity.

This program was made possible by a grant to Providers Choice by the Cargil Foundation.
