Are You on “Google My Business”?


Parents with young children today use the Internet to purchase just about everything. That includes child care.

If a parent “Googles” your name (business name or not), will they find you?

If not, the first step you should take is to create a Google account and get listed under “Google My Business.”

Doing so will allow you to post your name and contact information. You can post photos, link to your website, show a virtual tour of your home and post positive reviews of your program.

Some family child care providers don’t want their home address or phone number released to the general public. If so, you can still list the pertinent information about your program and protect your privacy. Here’s how.

This is a simple, easy step to take to promote your program. Think of it as an online business card.
