Tom Copeland to Offer Five Train-the-Trainer Workshops in New York

“Taking Care of Business: Helping Child Care Programs Become More Successful” is the title of a two-day Train-the-Trainer workshops I will be delivering in New York state in October and November.

These workshops are for trainers who will use the information to help family child care providers and child care centers become more successful as a business.

The workshop will cover the areas of record keeping & taxes, contracts & policies, legal & insurance issues, money management & retirement. They are sponsored by QualitystarsNY and Early Care and Learning Council.

Attendees will receive a power point, handouts, and other resources on each topic to help them communicate the key elements of running a successful business for homes and centers.

The workshops will be held at five locations:

Syracuse: October 34-24th

Albany: October 25-26th

Buffalo: November 6-7th

New York City: November 13-14th

Long Island: November 15-16th

Attendees must be verified/credentialed trainers for the state of New York. The workshop fee is $10 if you are a member of CCR&R and $20 if you are not a member.
