Building Strong Supports for Refugee Families and Children

Families and young children who have experienced resettlement often arrive in the U.S. to find systems that are overwhelming, confusing, and unwelcoming.

We hope you will join us tomorrow, December 7, for an important conversation about the fiscal and policy supports available to help. Hosted by our colleagues at the Build Initiative, this event will feature Civitas Strategies President & CEO, Gary Romano and Maki Park, Senior Policy Analyst with the Migration Policy Institute. They will share with us examples of fiscal and policy supports that are of benefit to refugee and asylee families and young children as well as historically marginalized communities.
