Are Moving Expenses Deductible?

If you move from one home to another, are any moving expenses deductible?

Unfortunately, the answer is no. Congress changed the rules in 2018. Before then you might have been able to deduct some moving expenses, but the deduction was eliminated for everyone except a military family.
