Listen to the Recording of "Dealing with the Financial Side of the Coronavirus" Webinar

Update: Here's the correct link to this webinar recording.

Last night I presented a webinar on "Dealing with the Financial Side of the Coronavirus." You can listen to the recording of this webinar here.

I addressed many issues including: insurance, unemployment, sick days, changing your contract, federal and state responses to the virus, can you refuse to care for a child, and the steps you can take to help you minimize the loss of income on your 2020 tax return.

I am repeating this webinar tonight, but it is full. On Wednesday I will post a list of the many questions asked during these webinars with my answers.

I was interviewed by a reporter for a Los Angeles newspaper. You can read her article, "Already on the Margins, Child Care Providers Look for Coronavirus Relief." It highlights some of the steps being taken and proposed in California and federally to help family child care providers.

I know that many family child care providers are financially suffering because they have lost families or are being forced to shut down. This is an extremely trying time. I will continue to write about how to cope with the business side of the coronavirus in the coming days and weeks.
