Top Three Record Keeping Tips for 2017

Even though you may be preoccupied with doing your 2016 taxes, it’s not too early to start thinking about keeping good records for 2017!

I’ve created this short video, “Top Three Record Keeping Tips for 2017” to get you started on the right foot for 2017.

The top three tips are:

*One: Save receipts for all your house expenses

*Two: Keep daily records of all the meals and snacks you serve

*Three: Track all the hours you work in your home

If you pay close attention to these three record keeping tasks they will make the biggest difference in reducing your taxes for 2017.

Note: The link to a meal chart you can use to track your un-reimbursed meals and snacks is hard to read on this video. Here’s the link: http://www.redleafpress.org/assets/clientdocs/webcomponents/MealForm_2017.pdf

  1. I can’t see the link?

  2. I was not able to get the full Web address for the meal form. Can you please send this to me? Your picture at the bottom covered up parts of the address.

    Thank you!!
