Tales from the Road with Tom Copeland - Chapter IV

https://youtu.be/lQu8y7YxnTE

Highlights from Chapter IV: I describe my vision for the business of family child care; I lobby the IRS to create the standard meal allowance rule; I win six U.S. Tax Court cases for providers, and more!

To mark my retirement this May, I've created five videos called, "Tales from the Road with Tom Copeland." They describe the fun and troubles I encountered from being on the road for much of my career. Here's a summary of each video.

Chapter I: How I Got Started - My early years in a child care agency and how I decided to work on the business side of family child care.

Chapter II: Fun on the Road - The places I went and the people I met on my travels. Fun times.

Chapter III: Troubles on the Road - Stories of the trials and tribulations of too much travel.

Chapter IV: Taking Care of Business - My vision of the business of family child care, what I was able to accomplish in my career and my battles with the IRS.

Chapter V: The End of the Road - Thanks to all the people who helped me along the way, a few funny stories and so long.

I'll be releasing these videos one at a time each Monday over the next five weeks. Feel free to share them with others.

Enjoy!
