What do I do when my tax preparer won't allow me to claim a deduction I believe I'm entitled to?

You are entitled to claim all expenses that are ordinary and necessary for your business. Ask your tax preparer to show you something in writing that says you can't deduct it. Ask him/her to contact the IRS for clarification. Call the IRS yourself. If you aren't satisfied, find another tax preparer.
